Job Summary

To maintain a clean and appealing breakfast/ reception service according to policy standards.

DESCRIPTION

Set up and maintain the breakfast/reception buffet according to established IHG standards

and procedures.

Essential Functions of the Job

• Set up and breakdown breakfast/reception buffet according to IHG Hotel Standards  

• Maintain and replenish buffet items as needed 

• Keep tables clean and clear dishes from guests

• Maintain the proper care and cleanliness of serving equipment. Stack and handle china,

glass and silver to avoid breakage

•  Clean kitchen pick-up service station throughout shift

• Wash dishes as necessary during and after breakfast/reception service 

•  Assist in closing jobs (i.e. re-set dinning room, stock equipment, etc.

• Maintain positive communication with service and kitchen staff

• Make manager aware of guest’s comments and complaints

• Display knowledge of all menu items

• Maintain positive communication with service personnel

• Get with supervisor to replace any items that are short of supply. They may send you to

the local market to pick up missing items.

Key responsibilities include checking guests in and out, answering phone calls and emails, processing payments, and handling guest inquiries. Additionally, as a Night Auditor, you will be responsible for balancing and reconciling daily transactions, preparing reports, and ensuring the security of the property during the night shift.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or a related field. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential, as well as the ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently. A flexible schedule and willingness to work nights and weekends are required for this position.

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Facilities Engineer - Maintenance to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and optimization of our facilities and infrastructure. You will be responsible for developing and implementing maintenance strategies, & managing projects.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Develop and implement maintenance programs for all facility systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural components.
- Conduct regular inspections of buildings and equipment to identify issues and determine maintenance priorities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute facility upgrades, renovations, and improvements.
- Manage and oversee maintenance staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
- Prepare and manage the maintenance budget, including forecasting expenses and tracking costs.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards, implementing necessary protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, inventory, and compliance documentation.
- Evaluate and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement in facility operations.
- Establish relationships with vendors and contractors for repairs and outsourced services, ensuring timely and cost-effective solutions.
- Assist in emergency preparedness and response planning, coordinating recovery efforts as needed.

**Qualifications:**

- Experience in Facilities Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance, engineering, or management, with a minimum of [1] years in a similar role.
- Strong technical knowledge of building systems, including electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems and their maintenance.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards and safety compliance, including OSHA regulations.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across various departments.
- Proficiency in maintenance management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Professional certifications (e.g., CFM, PMP, or equivalent) are a plus.
